“ We inhaled the food so quickly we didn't take a single picture. Popped in for lunch, we were already planning our return trip while we were eating there. Hands-down absolutely the best Cantonese food I've ever had. We did the lunch special, it's an amazing value, with the choice of one soup or one appetizer, a list of 23 different entrées to choose from, & they range from $12-$13. My wife had the duck roll and the beef chow fun dry style. I had the chicken egg drop soup and the stuffed eggplant. (well, we shared everything family-style) The duck roll came first, it was so good. We ordered two more duck rolls to add to our meal. They are $3.50 each. The soup came next, I've never had egg drop soup with chicken in it, it was absolutely delicious. I just did a little swirl of soy sauce because that's what I like, it was eaten to the last drop. Next the eggplant hit the table, I was instantly excited because I've never seen stuffed eggplant TEMPURA! What!!?!?? absolutely mind blowing with black bean sauce drizzled on top. Finally, the beef chow fun dry style (you can also get it with black bean sauce.) the first bite made me say "wow" out loud. This beef had the most delicious char/smoke/ grill flavor to it. It was unexpected and it was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent & very friendly. THIS is the only Chinese food you need! ”

“ I got so many recommendations to try Joe's Peking Duck House and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is small but service is quick. Our group of 6 was in and out within an hour. FYI, it's cash only but there is an ATM inside. We ordered the Flounder Filet with Tofu and Vegetable, Honey Glazed Walnut Jumbo Shrimp, Beef Chow Fun, Steam Pork Juicy Dumplings, and Salt Fish and Diced Chicken Fried Rice. Can't go wrong with any of these choice! Food was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers. ”

“ I been going to Joes Perking House in Marlton since I discovered it about 5 years ago. It has become my go-to spot whenever I'm craving the real deal. One of the highlights of joe is their dim sum offerings on weekend. Although it's not push cart, it's still pretty delicious. Their menu boasts a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes, and you can't go wrong with any selection. Personally, I find myself gravitating towards the clams with minced pork, string beans, and the plain wonton soup, which never fails to evoke childhood memories for me. Their Chinese bbq, duck, roast pork and chicken are also wonderful. Make sure you try them as well. Despite being a Chinese restaurant, the service at Joes Perking House is always on point. While it's something that should be expected, it's worth noting that the staff here ensures a pleasant dining experience for all patrons. One thing to keep in mind is that Joes Perking House operates on a cash-only basis, keep that in mind, although they conveniently have an ATM onsite to accommodate guests. Overall, if you're in Marlton and craving authentic Chinese fare, Joes Perking House is the place to be. Highly recommended. Give them a try. ”

“ This is a solid spot for Chinese dinner. Judging by the packed house it's a good place. We sat immediately and given menus there was a good amount of options including soup , noodle bowls , and traditional Chinese choices. We had a few different servers think they all cover the whole restaurant. The food was good , hot and tasted fresh. I had the a beef dish was tasty. The dish had lots of spicy peepers and jalapeños. Kung pao also good chock full of peanuts and chicken . The 4 stars are given for 2 reasons one they are a cash only option. This is over annoying since we're not cash carriers. The second is the dumplings were deep fried not pan friend and were greasier than normal. All in all good stop better to eat there unless you live close. Service and quality good compared to others . ”

“ I've been a Joe's fan since 1984, when he opened his first restaurant in Chinatown. This suburban New Jersey location has had its ups and downs over the years. The menu is less ambitious and the food coming out of the kitchen has occasionally been too bland, but as other good Hong Kong-style noodle houses have shown up to offer competition, then closed, Joe's has survived and thrived. You can't go wrong here ordering traditional noodle house dishes like soups, chow fun, mei fun, roast duck, char siu, and dumplings. We are partial to the Needle Noodle with Shrimp & Pork, though they now include baby shrimp unless you request jumbos (for a fee -- worth it!). The sleeper hit: flounder in scallion and ginger sauce with tender greens. Yum. ”

“ Let's start with ambiance/location: located in a strip mall with many other shops. The restaurant itself is small, maybe can seat 30-35 people at a time. Looks like a typical Chinese restaurant. Staff is friendly and attentive. We waited about 20 minutes for our seat, not bad considering it was a Friday night. Now to the food: total cost was $137.50 not including tip. We ordered fish maw soup, dumplings, chicken fried rice, chicken with XO sauce, sizzling beef, seafood crispy noodles, and salt baked shrimp, scallops and squid. My favorite dishes were the seafood dishes but everything was so delicious! My daughter is a very picky eater and she loved the chicken dishes. The soup was a little bland and needed soy sauce with jalapeños (they used to serve this soup at every Cambodian wedding that came with a side of jalapeños dipped in soy sauce). This was our second time there and we will be returning. The first time we went, the only dish we weren't a fan of was the grandfather's chicken - it was too sweet but that's how it's made so no fault of the chef. ”
